....reminding myself this will all have been worth it when I’m buying a Sagaris some day. I thought I was going to enjoy this class but the professor makes it unbearable.

Business law is not really that interesting as it’s mostly about formation and duties, but as a person that went through law school in 2009-12 and rarely used a laptop in class, you should try closing your browser and not trying to escape into the Internet. The classes tend to be much better if you just try and get into them.

He just lectures, no slides at all. For me that makes note taking hard. Plus we just had our first test and the entire thing was True or False questions.

Look at it this way - statistically, if you know half the answers to a set of t/f questions and guess completely randomly on the rest, that should be 50%-error (%false known) + (50%)^2, which is as much as 75% if you’re right about what you’re sure you’re right on. PASSING (usually)! The only wrench in the works is if the professor intentionally drives up the false known percentage with misleading questions or unintentionally with bad writing. That can potentially drive the threshold all the way down to a 25.

Neither of which could ever happen, obviously.

You kids and your fancy laptops in class.

I was back in the day when laptops were starting to be allowed.....

And yes, that was 2008, lol.

I don’t own a laptop currently. It’s boring because he makes no attempt to make it interesting and he doesn’t even have slides to follow along with.

That’s a bummer the professor makes it boring, I actually enjoy my business law class although I wish I had time during to think about Sagaris’s :(
